Rule Industries, Inc. manufactures and develops products for industrial and consumer hardware markets and recreational marine markets which are marketed through both domestic and international distribution. Its hardware products consist of reciprocating saw blades, wood working bits, blade frames, etc, for industrial and consumer use. The company is a major supplier of accessory products for small boats, principally pumps, switches and related item. It also produces a line of winches for utility, farm and off-road vehicle markets under the Rule trademark. Hardware products accounted for 66% of fiscal 1995 revenues; marine products, 30%, and other, 4%.
