2. The drive method for a CCD image sensor is complicated.
3. The fabrication of intricate CCD sensors is far from simple, whereas CMOS sensors are straightforward.

Buy a device with CCD image sensing
Photosensitive silicon is integral to the electronic sensor CCD operation, where thousands of photosensitive elements correspond with pixels in a matrix of rows and columns. Amplifiers convert the charges from rows of elements into voltage signals, which then display as pixels on a monitor. CCD imaging applications, besides those listed above, are photometry, fluoroscopy, spectroscopy, high-speed imaging and photography.
