The principal activities of the company are the manufacture and distribution of machinery and other parts to the building and car industries, the navy and the agricultural sector through the following divisions; ENERGY (Oil and gas, electricity, steam and district heating) , INDUSTRY (process or transformation: petrochemical, speciality chemical, food processing, iron and steel, ship building, aeronautical, rail and car industries), WATER AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION (catchment, hydro-electricity, transportation, distribution, irrigation, water treatment and sewerage), BUILDING AND CONSTRUCTION (equipment of "fluids sections" in industrial and commercial buildings, sites, tunnels, fluid transportation networks). Pipes accounted for 52% of fiscal 2001 revenues; fittings, 31%; special industrial equipment, 7% and other activities, 10%.
