Mark IV Industries, Inc. manufactures proprietary and other products for automotive, industrial power and fluid transfer businesses. The operations of the company are conducted in two segments: automotive segment and industrial segment. Automotive segment designs, manufactures and distributes power transmission, fuel and fluid handling, air-intake systems and components. Industrial segment designs, manufactures and distributes power and fluid management systems and components. The company operates mainly in the United States, Europe, Canada, Latin America and the Far East. In fiscal 2000, the company acquired the net assets of Lombardini FIM S.p.A. Automotive systems and components accounted for 60% of fiscal 2000 revenues and industrial systems and components, 40%.
