Klipton Limited specializes in the provision of alarm, security and safety equipment and services. It also manufactures safety products for use in the workplace. Last year the group acquired ten businesses in the security and safety sector at a cost of in excess of 85 million rand and the group also disposed of the physical security division of Austen Security to the management of the company. In fis 1999, the group acquired OF&A (Pty) Ltd and Sentry Security.
