It operates in three segments: Automated Data Systems (ADS), Integrated Production Systems (IPS) and Advanced Manufacturing Equipment (AME). ADS segment provides mobile computing solutions for the field worker, automated data collection systems for on-premises and site-based workers, wireless network systems for wireless enablement of an enterprise and barcode label and printing solutions. IPS consists of integrated manufacturing systems, body welding and assembly systems and precision grinding and abrasives operations, primarily serving the worldwide automotive industries. AME segment provides machining systems and stand-alone machine tools primarily for the aerospace and manufacturing industries. Automated data systems accounted for 57% of 2002 revenues; Integrated production systems 32% and Advanced manufacturing equipment, 11%.
