Bet plc provides specialist support services to industrial, commercial and public sector customers primarily in the United Kingdom, Continental Europe, North America. The group operates through four divisions: business services (security, cleaning, catering, personnel and temporary staffing), distribution services (road tankers, tank containers, intermodal facilities, containers, "high cube" warehousing and distribution), plant services (scaffolding, integrated construction services, aerial work platforms, crane and equipment rental and sales, accommodation units and specialist offshore services) and textile services (supply, rental and laundering of specialist healthcare linen, washroom products, industrial and other workwear, cloths, mats, hotel and restaurant linen ). Business services accounted for 45% of fiscal 1995 revenues; distribution services, 21%; plant services, 21% and textile services, 13%.
