Learonal, Inc., develops, produces and distributes patented electroplating processes and specialty chemical additives, which are used in the electronic components, industrial metal finishing and other industries. The company primarily uses gold in its precious metal electroplating processes. Trademarks of this process include: Auroglo, Auronal, Aurodure and Enduraglo. Learonal Inc also markets more than one hundred other electroplating processes and chemical additives, using non-precious metals such as nickel, tin and copper, which are generally provided by the customer. Non-Precious metal processes and products accounted for 46% of fiscal 1998 revenues; precious metal content, 41%; precious metal processes, 10% and other, 3%.
