Georg Fischer AG(GF). The Group's principal activities are the engineering, production, marketing and sale of technological processes, plants, systems and related components. The Group operates through three divisions: Vehicle technology, Piping Systems and Machine Tools. The Vehicle technology division develops and produces castings in iron, aluminium or magnesium. The Piping Systems division supplies piping systems made of plastic and metal. The division also develops and produces customized system solutions and components for the safe transport of water, gas and other media. The Machine Tools division provides electric discharge machines and high-speed milling machines for the tool and mould making industry. The Group's operations are carried out in Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Austria, Sweden and China, Asia, Europe, USA. Automotive products accounted for 48% of 2006 revenues; AgieCharmilles, 28% and Piping systems, 24%
