Company Description
Nippon Steel Corporation. The Group's principal activities are to manufacture steel products. It operates through the following divisions: Steel making; Engineering; Urban Development; Chemicals and Nonferrous Materials; System Solutions and Others. Steel making operations include specialty steel and secondary products. Engineering includes the operations of plants, industrial equipment/furnaces and civil engineering. Urban Development includes city development, condominiums and real estate. Chemicals and Nonferrous Materials include coal-tar, ammonium sulphate, coke and fine ceramics. System Solutions operations include computer system related engineering and consulting. Others include power supply, energy, financing, theme parks and insurance.
