PVC Container Corporation. The Group's principal activities are to manufacture and sell a line of plastic containers and related chemical compounds. The Group has two reportable segments: plastic containers and polyvinyl chloride compound. The plastic containers segment manufactures custom designed PET, HDPE and PVC containers mainly for packaging of cosmetics, toiletries, foods, household lawn and garden chemicals and other industrial chemical products. The compound segment manufactures PVC compound used by the company as well as external customers. The external use of the PVC compound is for extruded profiles and accessories, furniture, molding and other indoor fixtures and molded electrical and electronic housings. Plastic containers accounted for 82% of fiscal 2002 revenues and Chemical compound, 18%.
