Schmalbach-Lubeca AG(SLW AG). The Group's principal activities are the provision of packaging solutions in the food, beverage and other consumer good sectors. Prior to July 2002 the Group's activities were carried through three divisions: PET packaging, Beverage cans and white cap closures. In July 2002 the PET packaging operations (providing recyclable bottles for use in the food industry and pharmaceutical products) and white cap closure segment (manufacturing metal and plastic closures for oxygen sensitive and vaccum-packed foods and beverages) were sold to Amcor Ltd (Australia) . Beverage cans design and produces tin plate and aluminium beverage cans and ring pulls. PET Containers accounted for 51% of 2001 revenues; Beverage cans, 32% and White cap closures 17%.
