Greif, Inc.. The Group's principal activity is to produce industrial packaging products. The Group operates in three segments. Industrial Packaging and Services segment offers steel, fibre, plastic drums, intermediate bulk containers, closure systems for industrial packaging products and polycarbonate water bottles. Paper, Packaging and Services segment sells containerboard, corrugated sheets and multiwall bags. Timber segment is focused on the active harvesting and regeneration of its United States timber properties to achieve sustainable long-term yields. The Group's customers include industries such as chemicals, paints and pigments, food and beverage, petroleum, industrial coatings, agricultural, pharmaceutical and mineral. The Group operates in North America, Europe and other parts of the world. The Group acquired steel drum manufacturing and closures business of Blagden Packaging Group on 30-Nov-2006 and two small industrial packaging companies in November 2006.
