Company Description
Pechiney International SA produces and distributes packaging. Packaging products include aluminium cans and glass bottles for beverages, aluminium aerosol & airless pump cosmetic dispensers, aluminium food cans, flexible film packaging for cereals & related products and tube packaging products. Through its subsidiary Intsel Southwest, the group is a leader in the distribution of steel. In 1995, Pechiney International sold its metal cans and glass bottle activities in North America and its turbine components activities. Also in 1995, the group acquired 50% of Mexican Vancan. Packaging accounted for 98% of 1996 revenues & other, 2%.
