Pechiney SA. The Company's principal activity is the production of primary aluminium, aluminium products and packaging materials. Operations are carried out through the following sectors: ALUMINIUM: production of primary aluminium, bauxite and alumina, manufacture of flat-rolled aluminium products for packaging, transport, building and home appliances, manufacture and sale of aluminium extrusions and distribution of semi-finished aluminium and stainless steel products; PACKAGING: manufacture of beverage cans and flexible packaging for the food, health care and cosmetics industries. The Company is also involved in the production of silicon ferroalloys, abrasives and refractories and international trade, sales agencies, non-ferrous metal and other basic material trading and metal brokerage.
