Fabbrica Milanese Conduttori Spa

Fabbrica Milanese Conduttori SPA is principally involved in the manufacture and distribution of power transmission equipment such as cables and electric conducters to be used in telephones and engineering activities. It also produces plastic wire for use in power conduction. The consolidated group is composed of Fabbrica Milanese Conduttori SPA and five other companies, two of which are located abroad (FA.MI.CO Holdings SA - Luxembourg and FMC France SA - France). In 1994, FMC Telecom SPA, one of the subsidiaries, received the ISO 9000.02 quality certificate. The telephone sector accounted for 40% of 1994 revenues; energy sector, 32%; speciality sector, 27% and plastics sector, 1%.
