Southcorp. The Group's principal activities are the viticulture, production and sale of table, sparkling and fortified wines and manufacturing of domestic and commercial water heaters and clean air systems. The Company owns and leases 6,684 hectares and develops 1,433 hectares of vineyards located in South Australia, New South Wales, Victoria, Western Australia, France and the United States of America. Major brands are categorized into: Core premium brands include Penfolds, Rosemount, Lindemans and Wynns; Boutique brands include Seppelt, Coldstream Hills, Devil's Lair and Leo Buring; Value brands include Queen Adelaide, Matthew Lang and Others; Sparkling includes Seppelt, Lindemans, Seaview and Rosemount; Soft Pack includes Kaiser Stuhl and Lindemans; Fortified includes Seppelt and Penfolds; and Other brands include Buyer's Own Brand and Private Label. Wine accounted for 77% of gross fiscal 2002 revenues and water heater, 23%.
