Company Description
Hindalco Industries Limited. The Group's principal activity is to produce aluminium and semi- fabricated products. The Group operates in three segments: Aluminium, Copper and Others. The products of the Group include primary aluminium ingot, alloy ingot, billet, cast slab, wire rod, redraw rods, alloy rod, foils and sheet product. The copper business comprises of production and sale of copper in the form of cathodes and continuous cast rods and by-products and other precious metals. The Group's operating units are located at Renukoot, Renusagar and Silvassa. Aluminium accounted for 51% of fiscal 2006 gross revenues; Copper, 47% and Others, 2%
