Ispat Inland Inc.. The Group's principal activities are to produce and sell steel and related products primarily of carbon and high-strength low-alloy steel grades. It also participates in certain iron ore production and steel-finishing joint ventures. It operates through two divisions: the Flat Products division and the Bar division. The Flat Products division manages the iron ore operations, which conducts its iron making operations, and produces the major portion of its raw steel. This division also manufactures and sells steel sheet, strip and certain related semi-finished products for the automotive, steel service center, appliance, office furniture and electrical motor markets. The Bar division manufactures and sells special quality bars and certain related semi-finished products to the automotive industry directly as well as through forgers and cold finishers, and also sells to steel service centers and heavy equipment manufacturers. The Group operates in the domestic market. Flat Products accounted for 87% of 2004 revenues and Bar Products, 13%
