Commercial Metals Company. The Group's principal activities are to manufacture, recycle, market and distribute steel and metal products and related materials. It operates through five Segments: Domestic Mills, CMCZ, Domestic Fabrication, Recycling and Marketing and Distribution. The Domestic Mills Segment includes domestic steel minimills and the copper tube minimill. CMCZ Segment sells rebar primarily to fabricators, distributors and construction companies. The Domestic Fabrication Segment consists of the rebar and joist fabrication operations, fence post manufacturing plants, construction-related and other products facilities. The Recycling Segment processes secondary or scrap metals for further recycling into new metal products. The Marketing and Distribution Segment includes both domestic and international operations for the sales, distribution and processing of both ferrous and nonferrous metals and other industrial products.
