Birmingham Steel Corporation. The Group's principal activity is to own and operate facilities in the mini-mill sector of the steel industry. The Group produces variety of steel products including semi-finished steel billets, reinforcing bars and merchant products such as rounds, flats, squares, strips, angles and channels. The products are sold primarily to customers in fabrication, manufacturing and construction industry. The operating facilities of the Group are located in the United States and Canada. The Group also operates regional warehouse and steel distribution facilities.
