Oregon Steel Mills Incorporated. The Group's principal activity is to manufacture and markets specialty and commodity steel products. It operates two steel mills and eight finishing facilities in the western United States and Canada. The Group is organized into two business units: The Oregon Steel Division and Rocky Mountain Steel Mills Division. The Oregon Steel Division's Napa Pipe Mill produces pipe of a quality suitable for use in high-pressure oil and gas transmission pipelines. The Rocky Mountain Steel Mills, located in Colorado, supplies steel for the Company's rail, rod and bar and seamless tubular finishing mills The principal markets for the Group's products are steel service centers, steel fabricators, railroads, oil and gas producers and distributors and other industrial concerns. The Group's products are primarily marketed in the United States, west of the Mississippi River and western Canada. On 30-Mar-2005 the Group acquired Camrose Pipe Company.
