Noranda Inc. The Group's principal activities are the production of copper, nickel, aluminum, lead, silver, gold, sulfuric acid and cabolt. The Group also recycles copper, nickel and precious metals. The Copper and recycling business consists of the horne smelter, CCR refinery, the Kidd Creek operations and four recycling and collection facilities. The Nickel Business comprises of the Falconbridge Integrated Nickel Operations and the Falcondo ferronickel operation. The Copper Business includes the Altonorte smelter and the Antamina, Collahuasi and Lomas Bayas mines. The Aluminum segment produces primary aluminum and aluminum foil and light sheet. The Zinc Business includes the operations of the Brunswick mine and smelter and the Matagami mine. The Group operates in 17 countries around the world. Copper and Recycling accounted for 33% of 2002 revenues; Nickel, 21%; Copper, 19%; Aluminum, 17% and Zinc, 10%.
