Company Description
Carter Holt Harvey Limited. The Group's principal activities are carried out through the following business segments: Forests: Involves the development of forests and the sale of logs; Wood Products: Involves the processing of logs into sawn timber, panel products and engineered wood products and the distribution of building supplies; Pulp and Paper: Involves the processing of logs, chips and waste paper into pulp and paper and related products; and Packaging: Involves the manufacture of corrugated cardboard and other wood fibre packaging products. The Tissue businesses were sold on 19-May-2004. It operates mainly in New Zealand and Australia.
