Crestbrook Forest Industries Limited is an integrated forest products company based in Cranbrook, British Colombia producing hardwood, softwood northern bleached kraft pulp, lumber and value-added wood products. Westbrook also has interests in harvesting, silviculture and reforestation activities. The company has sawmills at Cranbrook, Canal Flats and Elko in southeastern British Columbia, producing kiln-dried dimension lumber and speciality products. Crestwood produces high quality, element chlorine-free kraft pulp for markets in the U.S., Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Indonesia and Europe. Wood products accounted for 61% of 1997 revenues and pulp, 39%.
