Company Description
Alliance Gaming Corporation. The Group's principal activities are diversified into four business units. The Bally Gaming Systems unit manufactures and distributes gaming machines and supplies computerized monitoring systems for gaming machines at casinos. The Wall Machines and Amusement Games unit manufactures and distributes wall-mounted gaming machines and amusement games in Germany under the name of Bally Wulff. The Route operations unit installs, operates and maintains video poker devices and other machines in taverns, restaurants, supermarkets and similar commercial spots in Nevada and Louisiana. The Casino unit owns and operates, the Rainbow Hotel Casino at Vicksburg, Mississippi and the Rail City Casino near Reno, Nevada. In fiscal 2003, the Group acquired Micro Clever Consulting Systems Company and Honeyframe Software Development Ltd. Route operations accounted for 38% of fiscal 2002 revenues; Gaming Equipment and Systems, 37%; Wall machines and Amusement games, 13% and Casinos, 12%.
