Pentax Corporation. The Groups principal activity is to manufacture and supply cameras and related equipment. The operations are carried out through the following divisions: Imaging System; Life Care and Optical System & Other. Imaging System division deals in Pentax cameras - point and shoot cameras, medium format cameras, single lens reflex cameras, digital cameras, lenses and accessories. Life Care division deals in endoscopes, eyeglasses, apace ram dental implants and bone prosthesis. Optical System & Other division deals in laser scanning units, laser printers, optical units for use in optical discs, CAD/CAM systems, binoculars, astronomical telescopes, surveillance cameras and electric distance measuring equipment. Other includes business system equipment, surveying instruments and others. Imaging system accounted for 49% of fiscal 2006 revenues; life care equipment, 27%; optical system, 19% and other, 5%
