Company Description
Independent Newspapers Limited(INL). The Group's principal activity is that of an investment and holding company. In June 2003, it sold its newspaper, magazine and distribution interests to Fairfax New Zealand Ltd. It has an investor relationship with its sole operational subsidiary, 78% owned Sky Network Television Ltd ('SKY'). On 19-Aug-2004, SKY and the Company announced proposal to merge the two companies. If approved, the Company will be delisted and a new company will be formed and named Sky Network Television Ltd. Television accounted for 90% of fis 2004 revenues; investment and corporate, 7% and printing, publishing and distribution, 3%
