Journal Register Co. The Group's principal activity is to publish, in print and online, daily and non-daily newspapers. It currently owns 27 daily newspapers and 368 non-daily publications and operates 239 individual websites that are affiliated with the Company's daily newspapers, non-daily publications and its network of employment Web sites. The Group's operations are strategically clustered in six geographic areas: Greater Philadelphia, Michigan, Connecticut, Greater Cleveland, New England and the Capital-Saratoga and Mid-Hudson regions of New York. It also owns JobsInTheUS, a network of 19 premier employment Web sites and three commercial printing operations that complement and enhance its publishing operations. On 29-Mar-2006, the Group acquired the assets of the Suburban Lifestyles Community Newspaper Group. Publishes in print and online daily and non-daily newspapers
