Company Description
Ferguson International Holdings Plc engages in manufacturing and selling of labels and related label products. The Group disposed of the Textiles Division and the Food, Personal Care & Beverages Division. Both of these divisions have been treated as discontinued activities. In addition Manchester Print and Packing previously included within the Textiles Division for reporting purposes has been closed and various items of capital and other assets have been sold to third parties. During fis 2000 Ferguson Int. Holdings plc disposed of Design Mark Industries, Morplan, Hindson and the British Publishing Company, while Manchester Print and Packing was closed. As at December 1999, 79 subsidiary companies had begun formal liquidation procedures.
