Austereo Limited owns Australia's two leading radio broadcasting networks, Austereo and the Triple M Network. Triple M Network was acquired on November 30, 1994 and with this acquisition Austereo Limited has become the largest radio broadcaster in the world outside America. A joint venture was formed in the fiscal 1996 year with MEASAT Broadcast Network Systems in consultation services for stations in Malaysia. The company's operations are carried out in Australia and Asia.
