Big City Radio, Inc.. The Group's principal activity is the acquisition and operation of radio-broadcasting stations. The Group applies the Synchronized Total Market Coverage (TM) technology in FM radio broadcasts. The technology allows for the acquisition of two or more stations that broadcast on the same frequency and simultaneous broadcast of their signals to achieve maximum coverage of the target market. As of 31-Dec-2001 the Group owned three FM stations in the Los Angeles area, four radio properties in the New York area, five in the Chicago area and four radio stations in the Phoenix area. The Group also owns United Publishers of Florida Inc, which publishes a Hispanic music-trade magazine named Disco, a graphic design business and the LatinMusicTrends.com website. In 2001, the Group ceased the operation of its Internet portal, TodoAhora.com and sold the assets of radio stations KEDJ-FM, KDDJ-FM, KBZR-FM and KSSL-FM.
