Saga Communications, Inc.(SAGA). The Group's principal activities are to acquire, develop and operate radio and television stations. The Group's stations employ a variety of programming formats, including classic hits, adult contemporary, album oriented rock, news/talk, country and classical. The Group operates through two segments: Radio and Television. On 07-Aug-2006, the Group acquired one FM Radio station (WTMT-FM),On 01-10-2006,a tower, antenna and transmitter and entered into agreements with another radio station in connection with the city of license change for WJZA-FM, 05-10-2006 one AM and one FM radio stations (WKRT-AM and WIII-FM). On 02-01-2007 the Group acuired one FM radio station (WCNR-FM) and on 01-Sep-2006began providing programming under a TBA to WCNR-FM. As of 31-Dec-2006, the Group owned or operated in 26 markets, including 89 radio stations, 5 television stations, 4 low-power television stations and five radio information networks.
