Company Description
CTV Inc (formerly Baton Broadcasting Incorporated) is an integrated television broadcaster and content provider. As at August 31, 1999, the company has 25 television stations and has ownership interest in, and manages, four specialty channels which serve Ontario, Alberta and Saskatchewan with coverage reaching substantially all of the English speaking population of Canada. It has facilities in Toronto and Ottawa for the production of television programming and is active in the syndication of television programming in Canada and the United States. TV (CTV network) and radio broadcasting accounted for 92% of fiscal 1999 revenues, media production and distribution, 5% and subscriptions, 3%.
