Alliance Atlantis Communications Inc.. The Group's principal activities are carried out through three reportable segments: Broadcast, Motion Picture Distribution and Entertainment. The Broadcast group consists of the Group's specialty television channels, which include lifestyle, drama and documentary programming. The Motion Picture Distribution group includes the acquisition, distribution and financing of motion pictures. The Entertainment group is involved in the development, production, acquisition and distribution of in-house motion pictures, primetime television drama, children's and documentary programming. Other activities are primarily comprised of the structured-filmed entertainment financing business and corporate functions. Television accounted for 51% of fiscal 2002 revenues; Motion Pictures, 34%; Broadcasting, 14% and Other, 1%.
