Company Description
CanWest Global Communications Corporation. The Group's principal activities are television broadcasting, radio, specialty cable channels, production and distribution of film and television programming and Internet websites. During fiscal 2002, it acquired the remaining 40% interest of Eye Corp and remaining 50% interest in The National Post Company. Online and publishing accounted for 56% of fiscal 2002 revenues; Broadcasting, 37% and Entertainment, 7%.
