Citicasters Inc. is a holding company engaged in the ownership and operation of radio and television stations. In June 1994 the name of the company was changed from Great American Communications Company to Citicasters Inc. Substantially all of the company's revenues come from the sale of advertising time to local and national advertisers. At present the company owns and operates two television stations, five AM radio stations and and fourteen FM radio stations. Radio broadcasting accounted for 55% of 1995 revenues; television broadcasting 45%.
