Company Description
United Television Incorporated. The principal activities of the Group are television broadcasting. The Company operates three very high frequency ("VHF") television stations and four ultra high frequency ("UHF") television stations. The Company is a majority owned subsidiary of BHC Communications, Inc., which is a majority owned subsidiary of Chris-Craft Industries, Inc. The Company currently owns and operates seven television stations in San Francisco, Minneapolis/St. Paul, Phoenix, Orlando, Baltimore, Salt Lake City and San Antonio. The Company derives its revenue primarily from the sale of advertising time. The television advertising sales market consists of national network advertising, national spot advertising and local spot advertising.
