Company Description
Cinema Plus Limited operates giant IMAX theatres in Australia, New Zealand under an exclusive agreement with Imax Corporation. The company also has the non-exclusive right to develop and operate IMAX theatres in other countries. Imax Corporation supplies projection and sound systems to Cinema Plus, and licenses to Cinema Plus for the use of IMAX trademarks. Theatre revenue accounted for 89% of fiscal 1999 revenues; Sponsorship, naming and other rights, 9% and sublease rental, 2%.
