AnorMED Inc.. The Company's principal activity is to discover and develop therapeutic and diagnostic applications of metal complexes and metal binding compounds with emphasis on life threatening disease and acute treatments. The Company currently has five compounds in clinical development, addressing important areas of medical need including cancer, HIV and inflammation. The Company's clinical products include: Fosrenol, a new phosphate binder for patients with end-stage kidney disease; AMD-473, a new platinum based anti-cancer agent; AMD-3100, a new agent for stem cell transplant in cancer patients; and Apomate, a prognostic imaging agent for cancer and other diseases.
