Neogen Corporation. The Group's principal activity is to develop, manufacture and market diverse line of products dedicated to food and animal safety. The Group operates in two segments: Food Safety and Animal Safety. The Food Safety segment produces and markets diagnostic test kits and related products used by food producers and processors to detect dangerous or unintended substances in human food and animal feed, such as foodborne pathogens, natural toxins, food allergens, genetic modifications, ruminant by-products, drug residues, pesticide residues and general sanitation concerns. The Animal Safety segment produces and markets products dedicated to animal health. They include 250 different veterinary instruments and a complete line of consumable products marketed to veterinarians and animal health product distributors.
