The Group's xMAP technology allows the Luminex systems to simultaneously perform up to 100 bioassays on a single drop of fluid by reading biological tests on the surface of microscopic polystyrene beads called microspheres. The xMAP technology is currently being used within the various segments of the life sciences industry in the fields of drug discovery and development, clinical diagnostics, genetic analysis, bio-defense, protein analysis and biomedical research. The Group operates in the United States, Europe Asia & Other countries. On 01-Mar-2007, the Group acquired Tm Bioscience Corporation.
