Leciva a.s.. Leciva a.s. is a joint stock company which produces and markets drugs and cosmetics. The company also manufactures packaging materials for pharmaceutical products and single purpose equipment and machines for the pharmaceutical industry. During 1998 the company concentrated on developing human insulins. Leciva publishes a monthly magazine - QALT (Quality and You). The company incorporates two sales divisions: domestic (including Slovakia) and export sales. The majority of the company's products are sold in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Russia, Poland, Belorus and Transcaucasia including Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan. The company has their organizational units in Slovakia, Poland, Ukraine, Belarus and Uzbekistan. Leciva a.s. has only one foreign subsidiary in Slovakia.
