The Group operates in three business segments: Clinical Research Services, PAREXEL Consulting and Medical Marketing and Perceptive. Clinical Research Services Segment provides clinical trials management and biostatistics, data management and clinical pharmacology services. PAREXEL Consulting and Marketing Services Segment provides technical expertise in disciplines such as drug development, regulatory affairs and biopharmaceutical process and management consulting. It also provides a full spectrum of market development, product development and targeted communications services in support of product launch. Perceptive Segment provides information technology solutions designed to improve clients' product development processes. The Group operates in the United States, Europe, Asia and other foreign countries. On 01-Jul-2005, it acquired Qdot PHARMA. Clinical Research accounted for 72% of fiscal 2006 revenues; Consulting and Medical Marketing, 19% and Perceptive, 9%
