Stento Asa has divided its operations into three main business units: mobile radio, communications and security systems and naval communications. The group's largest business unit is comprised of the communications and security systems unit, whereby the company markets, distributes and installs systems for various industries, airports, health and financial institutions and the police. The mobile radio operation supplies private mobile radio systems in the Norwegian market. The company acquired Infocom Communication AS, Steenhans AS and 67% of Colsys in 1999.
