BPA AB is a leading company in the Scandinavian installation market. The company conducts installation operations within electrical, heating, plumbing, ventilation and telecommunications/data and also has a large maintenance and service operation aimed at the real estate and industrial sectors. Customers include private industry and clients in the public sector as well as real estate and construction companies. Operations are combined in eight regional companies in Sweden, Norway and Denmark, with establishments in some 120 communities. Other operations include the manufacturing of products used in installation and service operations and products which protects bathrooms against water damage. Heating and plumbing installations accounted for 33% of 1998 revenues; electrical installations, 27%; air treatment and ventilation installations, 26%; service operations, 6%; telecommunications and data installations, 5% and other, 3%.
