AMRE, Inc. is a direct sales and marketing Company for siding, exterior coating, replacement windows and kitchen cabinet refacing products. AMRE has 61 branch offices located in 35 states and one manufacturing facility. AMRE purchases its products from independent third party suppliers with the exception of kitchen cabinet refacing products which it manufactures itself in the Chicago. All products are marketed directly to the consumer and are installed or applied by local contractors. Siding accounted for 52% of 1995 revenues; Cabinets, 25%; Windows, 20% and coatings and other products, 3%.
