Lafarge North America Incorporated. The Group's principal activity is to supply construction materials in the United States and Canada. The Group manufactures and sells cement, ready-mixed concrete, gypsum wallboard, asphalt and related products. The Group operates through three segments: Aggregates, Concrete and Asphalt, Cement and Gypsum. Aggregates, Concrete and Asphalt produces and supplies construction aggregates, ready-mixed concrete and asphalt for use in the North American construction industries. The Cement segment produces and distributes Portland, specialty cements, slag, fly ash and associated blended products. The Gypsum segment produces and distributes a full line of gypsum drywall products for commercial and residential construction. The trademarks of the Group include Agilia(R), Futurecrete(R), Agrifarge(R), Artevia ColorTM and WeatherMix(R), MaxcemTM, Supercem(R) and SF(R) cement.
