It operates through three segments: Cement, Aggregates and Consumer Products. The Cement division produces and sells gray portland cement as well as specialty cements. The Aggregates segment produces and sells stone, sand and gravel as well as expanded shale and clay aggregates. The consumer products division produces and sells ready-mix concrete as well as packaged concrete and related products. The manufacturing facilities are concentrated primarily in Texas, Louisiana and California.
