Canakkale Cimento Sanayii A.s.

Canakkale Cimento Sanayii A.S., which was established in 1974 with the participation of Yapi Ve Kredi Bankasi, is the largest producer of cement in Turkey. As part of its on-going investment programme, the company recently upgraded its jetty facilities so that it can now deal with vessels with a capacity of 5,000-6,000 tons for loading and 10,000-50,000 tons for discharging. During 1995 exports to Europe, North Africa, the Middle East, America and West Africa accounted for over 59% of gross revenues.
